Handmade Faces: Janick from Nea
Alright, enough of my big mug (and big hair!) I'm pleased to introduce this week's "handmade face," Janick! Janick is a graphic designer and also makes some delicious jewelry goodness (I own these earrings!) under the moniker, Nea. Let's meet her!
{In this pic, Janick is wearing wrist gloves by nataJane, sterling hoops by Kate Szabone with flowers that she added on herself}
What does handmade mean to you, Janick?
Handmade to me means growth and life; like a seed becoming a plant, a creative idea can bloom into a unique and wonderful handmade item! I think we, as creators, grow so much as people when we handmake items. We learn from each project, we get other ideas while doing our thing and we can learn from each other when being part of the handmade community as well. And let’s also say that the handmade world has grown quickly for a few years! I love this community, its people and what it represents!
Actually, I like creating stuff as much as promoting handmade! Handmade is my basically my life! From my everyday work (freelance graphic design), to creating my jewelry, to blogging in my “free” time, handmade is just there for me and hopefully I’m also there for it! :)
Let's give Janick a nice modish hello, hmm? And find her jewelry at Nea!

Yay! I've met Janick and she is the sweetest person :) Awesome pic by the way!

Her face reminds me of the beautiful Julia plates by Piero Fornasetti.
