Handmade Traces: DIY Shrink Plastic Flower Pin

Yay!  We have our first diy tutorial submitted by the talented Jessica of Jewelry by Jessica!  It's fun and easy and a would be a great project to do with kids or a group of friends- how to make a shrinky dink flower pin!  Flowerpin

From Jessica: This is a very fun, very satisfying project — you’ll want to make one in every color! This flower pin looks even better in person than it does in the pictures here – the shiny shrink plastic plus the dimensionality of it makes it hard to capture on film. I hope you have a great time making one! PLEASE NOTE: This pattern is for personal use only. No products based on this pattern may be sold.

You can watch of video of Jessica making one below or follow along with the instructions which you can download here- Download JBJFlowerPinTutorial.pdf.  The templates you'll need are also available there.

Thanks so much Jessica for showing us how to craft such a cute little pin!  If you decide to make one of these of yourself, we'd love to see your finished product!  You can submit it to Jessica's flickr pool, here.
