Art for a restless mind

Perhaps it's my genuine interest in soooo many different areas (aka: my inability to ever decide on anything and stick with it for very long) that draws me to mixed media pieces- they speak to my love of illustration, fabric, embroidery and paper all at once, and these pieces by Lindsay Brackeen do it so cutely, as well! 

I love these whimsical pieces, both prints and original artworks, that combine Lindsay's talented painting techniques with her love of other materials, like paper and thread.  It gives an added richness, a depth in pattern and color that pops!  A little crosshatch lion?  Embroidered dress details?  It's the little things like this that make her work so interesting and appealing.  Find more pieces to fall in love with in Lindsay Brackeen's etsy shop!
